The Formax FD 8806 Industrial Conveyor Shredder is a Cross Cut shredder for large volume shredding. The commercial grade, belt-feed shredding system was designed to shred entire files, stacks of computer forms, cardboard, tapes, ribbons, CD’s, and magnetic disks.
The Even-Flow Automatic Oiling System lubricates the steel cutting blades during use. The front waste bin access allows the shredder to be placed against a wall to maximize space savings.
Powerful – With special heat-treated solid-steel cutting blades and a rugged AC geared-motor. The conveyor-feed system shreds up to 110 sheets in one pass at up to 49 feet per minute (see specs below).
User-Friendly Control Panel – Unmatched automated features through an LED control panel. The easy-to-read Load Indicator assists operators in determining how close they are to the maximum shred capacity to avoid jams and provide optimal efficiency. Indicators also notify operators when the waste bin is full or the cabinet door is open. Two modes of operation are available: Auto Start/Stop or Manual. Auto Start/Stop utilizes optical sensors which detect paper and start/stop operation automatically. Manual mode provides non-stop operation for shredding small sized paper or films.
Rugged and Easy to Maintain – Keeping these shredders in top condition is easy to do. With the Auto Cleaning function, clearing the blades of shredding debris is as simple as pressing Reverse on the control panel. Plus, the EvenFlowTM Automatic Oiling System lubricates the all-steel cutting blades, helping to keep the shredder in peak condition for optimal efficiency. In addition, the high-density molded plastic waste bin on casters is durable and easy to move.
Designed for Safety – A large safety stop bar is located in front of the conveyor belt system and will shut down the shredder instantly when pressed. A safety key and lock system is also included to ensure the shredder is used only by authorized staff.
